Sport Climbing

Sport Climbing is usually the next step for those with indoor leading experience or those comfortable with top-roping.

The aim is to develop the skills required for you to become competent in leading sport climbing routes on your own.

The course covers:
  • Sport climbing equipment
  • belaying on sports routes
  • falling (sounds worse than it is)
  • Threading anchors and lowering off
  • movement skills
  • using quickdraws
  • efficient cliping
  • and lots of climbing

We predominantly use the 3 locations listed but if you would like to climb elsewhere please get in touch via the enquiry button below or on the contact page
